Wood Thrush

After work today I went for a walk. On the trail up East Rock I spotted a Wood Thrush.

Red Tailed Hawk

Dropped LMarg off at work, and on my way home saw a red tail circling the highway.

Great Blue Heron

Laura wanted to show me her bike route today. We dropped her car off at the mechanic and drove her usual bike path. we passed a little pond and saw this bird. They are usually quite shy. I was siked to spot him!

Northern Mocking Bird

Yesterday (7/15) I met Laura for her lunch break in Meridan. We walked to Stop & Shop and on the way back we cut through a large field across from the projects. I noticed this bird's long flat tail first. He (or she) was walking through the field. Then he flew to a nearby tree.
